I just finished a case (employment lawsuit) with Connor and Michael. I was referred to this law firm by another one who couldn’t take my case, but felt that Kirtland & Packard could... and I’m glad they did! My attorney, Connor, represented me thru the entire process; starting with a brief introductory phone call and ending with a warm congratulations when the case ended. The entire process took about 6 months, and ended with my satisfaction in success. Anytime I had a question, Connor was sure to answer in a timely and professional manner... no matter how dumb my questions were (this was my first lawsuit so I had a lot of questions, as I didn’t know what to expect)... he was easily accessible via phone or email. I also had to move out of state during the case, and it was still so easy to communicate back and forth and I was able to sign and send everything electronically. They really made the process stress free! When I did have to come to California for depositions and mediation, Connor held my hand the entire way and made me feel as confident and comfortable as possible. He even called Michael a few times to get his opinion on things and I really appreciated that. It felt good to know I was being taken cared of and reassured me in all my decision makings during mediation. After all, I’m no attorney so I definitely wanted their opinion on a lot of things- even though they kept reminding me I get the final say in the end. At no time did I ever feel neglected or that my case wasn’t progressing and in just 6 months it’s not just over but I’m happy with the outcome. I am so thankful I was referred to them and beyond grateful for all they’ve done. Hopefully I’ll never need legal representation again haha but if I do, definitely will reach out to them and will refer/recommend them to anyone in SoCal looking for a great firm, and even greater attorneys. Needed a law firm to help with my medical lawsuit. Was lucky enough to be able to retain this firm and specifically Ruth Rizkalla. Entire process was extremely simple for me and Ruth was always responsive to my questions. She worked diligently to prepare me for my deposition and fought to get me the best settlement she could. Michael is among a rare breed. He was always prepared for motions, depositions and trial. On many occasions, the “bad guys” filed the same motion 3 or 4 times and still did not prevail against Michael. During an in-chambers session with the judge, Michael was complimented as always being prepared, being on time and knowing the law and the evidence code. The judge commented to me, “If I had legal problems, I would not hesitate to ask Mr. Kelly to represent me.” High praise indeed from a senior judge. The defendants spent millions of dollars with at least nine lawyers from a “top five” international defense firm. Michael and his team were professional, “spot on” the issues and prevailed.
