Born in Los Angeles and raised on the Peninsula, Simon attended and graduated from Loyola Law School in the Spring of 2021. He became licensed that December. On recommendation from torts professor John T. Nockleby, Simon began taking assignments from a solo-practitioner while continuing to work for his father’s dental laboratory. After some months, he was referred to a pre-eminent trial lawyer who specializes in defending physicians and healthcare institutions from malpractice related claims, including those involving professional negligence, wrongful death, and elder abuse. This experience gave him the opportunity to hone the skill of conducting the manifestly ethical, hard-hitting litigation that was taught by Loyola’s distinguished faculty. Being a second attorney and in charge of the day-to-day of litigation instilled confidence in his work and not before long did achieving quick resolutions through careful early litigation strategy and negotiation become a regular occurrence. Equally rewarding was securing a myriad of dismissals by way of summary judgment, notably through oral advocacy on several occasions. As the positive results continued, the opportunities to handle more complex cases provided insight into other areas of law which piqued his interest.
Wanting to expand his scope of practice and focus on providing quality legal services to individuals, Simon joined Kirtland & Packard in the Spring of 2024. He feels privileged to have the opportunity to litigate claims that will positively impact members of the South Bay community in which he was raised.
Outside of the office Simon enjoys spending time in and outdoors with family, playing the piano, learning about and practicing gardening and skateboarding.
